Job Description
Well know manufacturer of medical instrumentation is in need of a good Field Engineer in the Central Connecticut area. (HARTFORD, NEW HAVEN, WATERBURY) . Can reside almost anywhere these area.s Company prefers someone with an AAS Degree, Military Electronics Training, or equivalent, with previous biomedical service experience, AN AAMI Certification is a plus but not required. You must have above average customer relations skills, and the ability to work well with minimal supervision. Will be working from home, and will need a work area to service instrumentation that cannot be repaired on-site. Along with doing installations and troubleshooting, you will earn commission on renewal of service contracts, as well as commission on any new service contracts sold. There will be some overtime and standby required. Overnight travel should be limited. Total 1st year compensation with Overtime, Standby, & Commission should be in the upper $50s to low $60s (possibly higher) + Auto.
