Your unique role with the company:
While reporting to the Director of Quartz you will be leading and managing a team of 6 scientists and technicians through product and process innovations. You will be directly participating in the Technology Strategy discussion and creating aligned project portfolios. In this role you will be closely working with operations and be responsible for handling multiple projects simultaneously. Improving the performance of existing products and develop next generation products for existing businesses and markets.

(Short term- Adjacency: 2-3 years) Create adjacency business opportunities by modifying and extending the existing products for new applications/new markets

(Mid term-TG: 3-5 years) Develop new products using existing or modified mfg. processes for new applications/new markets

(Long term-TG: 5-10 years) Develop innovative products by innovative mfg. processes for new applications/new markets

What we are looking for in a Candidate:

Ph.D. in Chemistry, Science or Engineering.
Good mixture of management and technical skills
Excellent communication skills
Background in glass, ceramics or quartz materials
