Our client, a Fortune 300 company and leading global supplier of atmospheric gases and equipment is seeking a
Healthcare Applications Engineer
based out of their state-of-the-art Technology Center for global plant engineering and research and development.
As a member of the Healthcare Applications team, the successful candidate will work with the regional healthcare business leaders to develop and commercialize new medical gases applications technology.
Candidates should demonstrate excellent leadership skills as well being team-oriented and have the ability to lead the development of technology solutions that meet the needs of healthcare customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead research and development projects from concept to commercialization.
Conduct resource planning and develop project proposals for funding approval.
Identify regulatory requirements for new products and ensure compliance.
Design experimental systems for proof of concept evaluations and conduct data analyses.
Drive and direct prototype development and support customer demonstrations.
Deliver program updates and recommendations to senior executive management.
Build and maintain relationships with key external partners.
Ph.D. or M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering or related technology field.
5 or more years of experience in the medical gases/ medical equipment/medical device industry in a technical role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to network externally.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time and work independently in a complex environment.
Experience with the global regulatory approval process for medical products.
