Ranging from high-volume plastic injection molded consumer products to low-volume machined plastic, reusable medical instruments, they have built a comprehensive network of vendors to handle tooling and production.
The client base is all encompassing, including many Fortune 500 companies as well as many start-ups and entrepreneurs with a team that is experienced in designing with many materials including injection molded plastics, extrusions, thermo-formings, castings, sheet metals, wood, composites, and more.

Your unique role with the company:  Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will drive and create innovative designs from cradle to grave including creating drawings, bills of materials, and overall project management. This involves leveraging your design experience, quoting accurately and ensuring that you are putting the customers’ needs first. Act as the technical support for the sales team and evaluate product design relative to material selections, cost and reliability. You will work with manufacturing to ensure product manufacturability and trouble-shoot any issues. You are expected to follow through on any/all field tests and continue to cultivate new ideas and processes. 
-Work with and lead teams to create mechanical concepts for overall packaging strategies, mechanisms, and parts.
-Create entire databases describing complete product design.
-Work with clients on individual projects or as a team lead, team member, or support member for larger projects.
-Work with team members to estimate resource requirements, monitor progress, and balance and reallocate resources when needed.
  What the company is looking for:
-5 years of previous design experience.
-Previous experience and strong knowledge of plastics/Injection molding and materials selection, tooling knowledge preferred.
-Able to interface and work with customers while wearing multiple hats.
